EPDM rubber

EPDM rubber is a microporous rubber with a closed cell structure based on chloroprene rubber. It is an elastic, non-slip material that does not absorb water, does not age and is resilient. Moreover, it is able to return to its original shape after being subjected to high pressure (it is highly crease-resistant).

Our EPDM rubber is available in different densities and hardnesses. Due to its properties, microporous rubber is widely used in the manufacturing of railway vehicles and public transport vehicles. EPDM rubber is used to produce seals, pads, mufflers, insulation, anti-slip pads, mounting components, and spacers.

Parameters:

Thickness: 2mm-35mm

Density: 70-175 kg/m3

Hardness: 25-50°Sh

Colour: black

EPDM rubber offers excellent resistance to hot water and steam, soap and cleaning agent solutions, acid and alkali solutions, flame-resistant hydraulic fluids, and hydraulic fluids containing glycol.

EPDM rubber is not recommended for use with mineral oil and grease, fuel, as well as aliphatic, aromatic, and chlorinated hydrocarbons.
