NR/CR neoprene rubber non-combustible acc. En45545-2

NR/CR rubber is a microporous rubber with a closed cell structure based on chloroprene rubber. It is an elastic, non-slip material that does not absorb water, does not age and is resilient. Moreover, it is able to return to its original shape after being subjected to high pressure (it is highly crease-resistant).

Our neoprene rubber is available in different densities and hardnesses. Due to its properties, microporous rubber is widely used in the manufacturing of railway vehicles and public transport vehicles. NR/CR rubber is used to produce seals, pads, mufflers, insulation, anti-slip pads, mounting components, and spacers.

Chloroprene rubber, also called neoprene rubber, offers excellent resistance to ozone, ageing, chemicals, flames, as well as vegetable oil, animal oil, mineral oil, alcohol, glycol, refrigerants (freons), dilute acids, alkalis, and water.
