Natural acetal is an unfilled POM-C with a unique balance of physical properties not available in most other thermoplastics. This acetal copolymer is an engineering plastic made for a wide range of universal applications in many different industries. The main features of the unmodified copolymer POM include high mechanical strength and rigidity, excellent resistance to wear, low water absorption, and excellent dimensional stability.
Polyacetal POM-H is characterized by very high strength as well as high sliding and friction properties. It has very good electrical insulation properties and chemical resistance. In comparison to POM-C, POM-H has a slightly higher density, hardness, and strength due to its higher crystallinity.
