Polyamide PA6 and PA6.6

Polyamide 6 is the most common extruded polyamide and offers a balanced combination of all typical characteristics of this group of materials. It is worth emphasizing its damping properties and impact resistance as well as its resistance against dynamic loads even at low temperatures and good abrasion resistance, particularly against mating parts with rough surfaces.

Polyamide 6.6 is fibreglass reinforced polyamide, which provides greater strength, rigidity, and stability than polyamide 6. The properties of PA6.6 make this material suitable for use in components exposed to long-term static breaking loads and high temperatures.
