Solid silicone is characterized by unique resistance to external factors such as UV radiation, ionizing radiation, corona discharges, moisture, and various types of stress. Additionally, silicone rubber is considered to be a universal material as it is non-oxidizing and extremely flexible. Another advantage is the fact that long-term use or storage in adverse conditions does not affect its properties in any way.

Solid silicone is fire-resistant, which means that it does not burn and does not emit toxic fumes. It is able to withstand temperatures of up to 300°C.

Solid silicone is used for the production of various types of seals, spacers, insulation mats, floor coverings, sidings, and vibration isolators used in the manufacture of railway vehicles and public transport vehicles.
